Yet another Commencal blog post!

The last 2 weeks have been really really busy, so much so I didn’t even get to do a blog update last week. Not much time today either, so just a quickie.

Commencal clearout

First off, the Commencal clearout is now at it’s peak. All the frames mentioned last week are now starting to appear on our website. We’ve everything from 2006 Meta 4’s to 2011 Supremes. And they’re selling fast. When they went live they were selling at a rate of one every ten minutes. It’s slowed down now a bit but we expect to have most of them sold by the end of the weekend.

Next up will be the “odds and ends” frames. These are the random front and rear ends that we’ve got, out of which we’re making working frames and selling them off. Now, it might be that the decals on the front and rear ends are different, or even the two parts are different colours, but as always this will be reflected in the price (Think uber cheap!). We expect these to start hitting the site this time next week.

Then, last will be all the left over frame halves and all the spares. This lot will most likely go on Ebay, so if you need axles, linkages, front ends, rear ends, etc. keep an eye on the Ebay seller real-cycles.

Commencal 2012

We had a chat this week with Matt, from the new Commencal UK distributor Decade. He tells us that 2012 stock is now on it’s way, and he also gave us the UK pricing.

As you’d expect from Commencal the prices ain’t cheap, but then nowadays nothing is in the bike world. Bottom line is, if the new Meta AM is to todays bikes what it’s predecessor the Meta 5 was in it’s time, it’ll be worth every penny.

We’ve not yet signed up to continue as dealers, good bit of negotiating to do yet Winking but we’re starting to get excited by the prospects.

That’s it for this week. Other than to mention my new 27” iMac. work machine. Lovely Happy
