Adventure Bikes comes to Real Cycles
Nowadays you have a few choices as to where to buy your bike: From a proper bike shop (online or High Street) or a super market are just two.
Bike shops are great for the latest bestest thing, but sometimes their offerings can be seem as a bit expensive, especially compared to the supermarkets and toy shops who nowadays almost give bikes away with a tin of beans. But your not stupid, you know these supermarket specials are rubbish. What can you do though? You don’t want to spend much on your bike, but you want something that’ll at least work out of the box.
And that is exactly where the new Adventure range comes in.
Unlike the Super market specials, which the TV program Watchdog themselves agreed simply don’t work (check out our video on YouTube for proof) Adventure Bikes come to you in a box, but fully built up, setup and ready to go. You literally rotate the bars, tighten them, stick on the pedals and that’s it. 100% ready to ride, in oh, about 30 secs.
The range consists of three adult bikes and three for kids. There are no fancy graphics, plastic parts or unnecessary frills, they’re all just solid no nonsense machines with a good level of spec for the price. They’re not for the serious commuter or weekend off road warrior, but they are perfect for anyone looking a cheap reliable bike that will get used once in a while, when the mood takes you, or maybe as a 2nd bike for the caravan, holiday home, campervan, that sort of thing.
Adventure Prime (gents) & Adventure Prima (ladies)
Priced at an unbeatable £229.99, they have a wide range 6 speed Shimano gear system. The frames are made from aluminium so they’re light weight. The wheels are built from double wall rims so are super strong. Full mudguards and racks complete the no nonsense spec list.

Adventure Stratos (gents & ladies)
Priced at only £259.99 the Stratos is a superb looking and riding sporty hybrid. A full 21 speed Shimano gearing system and stretched out riding position means it’s great for those longer tarmac rides. Or simply taking down to the shops (or pub!). Fast rolling tyres complete the sporty package.

Forest park, towpath, dirt track, the Trail range is a great budget off roader. A super wide range of Shimano gears also means no hill will be too big. Well, nearly! Chunky tyres, suspension fork and strong V brakes complete the look of a more serious mountain bike, but with none of the expense.
